Dan’s return to wilderness as a therapist fulfills a goal he made more than a decade ago when he worked as a wilderness field staff. A licensed professional counselor, Dan earned his bachelor’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He completed his graduate work at the University of Phoenix in mental health counseling.
An experienced therapist with more than 15 years experience, Dan has worked in wilderness, residential, and day treatment programs. He specializes in treating teens who struggle with mood disorders and trauma related to sexual abuse.
Dan is an avid traveler and has visited Nepal, Thailand, Italy and Switzerland. Closer to home, he enjoys biking, hiking and skiing with his wife and two children.
