W. Christopher Tolen, Psy.D.
Chris is a licensed clinical psychologist who has more than 20 years experience with assessment and treatment of troubled teens. Chris earned his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology. He has worked in wilderness, residential therapy, aftercare and private practice. He is an expert in assessment and testing troubled youth. Since 2001, Chris has provided assessment services for therapy programs and hospitals across the country, specializing in aptitude, personality, academic issues, neuropyscological concerns, vocation, and utilizing projective and psychosexual measures.
Married since 1994, Chris and his wife are the parents of four children – two of whom have special developmental needs. He loves sports (especially BYU football) and singing barbershop. Chris also enjoys the outdoors and spends his free time coaching little league and taking his children fishing.
