Scott has led Medicine Wheel field operations since 1998. He began his career in 1992 after graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation and Youth Leadership.
Though Scott is one of the most experienced Field Directors in the industry with too many skills to list, his greatest asset to our organization is his love and compassion for the RedCliff and Medicine Wheel students and staff he oversees and manages.
He inspires staff with a simple philosophy of not asking students to do anything he is not willing to do himself. Thanks to Scott’s “lead by example” style, all Medicine Wheel staff work on the same curriculum, eat the same food, carry the same pack and wear the same clothing as our students.
In addition to his Medicine Wheel responsibilities, Scott is busy with a wife he adores and five children of his own.
