Helping you stay healthy during your stay at Medicine Wheel is a priority. Head instructors are certified wilderness first responders. Any medical concerns are relayed from the field to base camp three times every day. In addition, an Emergency Medical Technician will visit you every other week to evaluate your blood pressure, weight, BMI, and deliver any medications you may require. Medicine Wheel also has a registered nurse on staff who consults daily with the EMT.
